Daniel J. Dell'Aquila Co-Founder and COO Zipflat
Daniel Dell’Aquila is the Chief Operations Officer at ZipFlat and is a co-founder of the company, and has manifold expertise in electrical engineering, computers, and mechanical design. Daniel is the co-inventor on a US utility patent for composites and is instrumental in ZipFlat’s innovation process. Mr. D holds a specialty training degree as Electronic Technician and holds an Information Sciences Degree from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa.
Bilingual in English & Spanish, Daniel has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology business in both, South America and large United States companies such as Burtin Corporation, Filbur Manufacturing, Line-X FDC as well as providing consulting services to many smaller businesses.
As a leading expert with a solid track record of creative problem solving and the ability to align solutions with the company's mission and strategic intent, Mr. D has led the team that developed the IT system for LINE-X from "paper ledgers and the old green screen technology" into a fully-integrated information system under budget and before deadline. His contributions to the company helped to identify under-performing business units and worked with a team to increase "same store sales" by 11% in one year. He worked with the CEO and CFO to identify best practices that contributed to the company outperforming the market by 32%.
